Did You Know? Because of our climate, green waste is generated year-round in Florida. Floridians generate over 7 million tons of this material annually, with over 3 million tons coming from the Tampa Bay region alone.
Veransa’s Mission: Who We Are
Veransa® vertically integrates green waste collection with commodity manufacturing to implement a zero-waste model. This means that we collect green and wood waste that might ordinarily end up in landfills and repurpose these materials for their highest and best use. Therefore, green waste such as grass clippings, fronds, green branches, vines and leaves can be transformed into compost and engineered soils that help gardeners, landscapers and farmers to cultivate healthy ecosystems. Wood waste, such as debris municipally collected after a storm, is turned into feedstock for energy wood pellets and other biofuels. Our industrial scale operations can dependably supply client needs regardless of required quantity or product specification.
