The eco mix is light, fluffy enough to add good aeration for the roots, but dense enough that it doesn’t dry out too quickly. Looking close I can see the tiny fibers of shredded palm trunks that make up the bulk of the mix. It doesn’t become soggy and compacted like peat. The pots don’t become overly heavy when wet. The best part of this mix is it works for everything. Bromeliads can be picky, but they love it. Foliage plants, trees, bamboo, philodendron all take to it very nicely. I wouldn’t go back to peat mixes, this stuff is much better.

Great compost! I met Stephanie as a vendor at a Florida Citrus Show and learned about their products. Citrus growers were in need of putting nutrients back in their soils.That’s what their compost is for. The product is tested by labs and info provided. I use the compost as a backyard grower for citrus, avocados, mangoes, other fruit trees, roses, vegetables and more. Reading about soil nutrition taught me to be much more concerned with the soil.
