Position Overview: Experienced Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic
Veransa, a leader in eco-friendly soil and organic compost solutions, is seeking an experienced, skilled, and dedicated Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic team.
This role is critical in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our fleet of Heavy Equipment, playing a key role in maintaining our commitment to environmental excellence and operational efficiency.
Primary Responsibilities
• Identify mechanical and electrical problems with both computerized diagnostic equipment and the naked eye to perform preventative maintenance, machine inspections, and repairs.
• Determine parts & tools necessary for mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical repairs.
• Determine appropriate repair measures based on research, peer-to-peer examination, and previous experience.
• Perform repairs safely, thoroughly, and accurately.
Requirements
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• 2 years Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic Experience necessary.
• The mechanics while performing their jobs are regularly required to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds and perform strenuous physical labor under potentially adverse field conditions.
• Often required to sit, stand, walk, bend knees, stretch arms, talk, and hear.
